About Ekaterina
I'm a GCSE board examiner and a teacher of Spanish and French at a secondary school in England, with QTS, PGDE and MA in Education from University of Sheffield, two Degrees and a Post Graduate qualification from Moscow Universities in Linguistics (interpreter of Spanish, teacher of Russian for foreigners) and Communication. I have 9 years' experience as a private tutor and almost 20 years' experience working for international firms as a translator, publisher and communications manager. During this time I've travelled, practised language usage in many contexts and observed different cultures. I'm patient and friendly and have a creative approach to using modern learning techniques and real world materials and exercises. Whether you're studying for private, business or academic pursuits, I'm confident that my tuition can meet your needs. With younger learners I practise engaging exercises and tasks to make my lessons as fun and interesting as possible, while with adult learners I focus on their specific needs and interests in order to ensure that the student is provided with full scope of information and skills to support their language learning journey.
