About Lydia
Having been an international student (and a neurodivergent one at that), and having had twice as many attempts at GCSE English than the average person, I'd like to think I'm pretty qualified. I know what it takes to get an A* in an English paper, and I can consistently coach people into getting the maximum grade for GCSE English.

I have taken the GCSE English exam twice due to being an international student. I got an A* both times. Having done a degree in Linguistics and English Language, I do have 10 years' experience in the subject. In the future, I would like to be a lecturer; I tutored 10 syntax novices into achieving a distinction level mark in syntax examinations, and I hope to sharpen my teaching skills further.

Lydia is an absolutely wonderful tutor, however old you are. She is so pleasant and friendly, and I really appreciated the patience with which she tutored me. I did some basic French years ago and I really wanted to start learning properly, and I was so pleased by Lydia's guidance in not only the correct pronounciation but her thorough knowledge of grammar. As a student, Lydia has always proved herself to be diligent, hardworking, respectful of others and
