My name is Mia and I am a third year student at the University of Sheffield. I have been passionate about English Literature since I first began discussing books in primary school, and it is my goal to share the skills and knowledge I have developed in my years of studying Literature with others.

Hi, my name is Mia! I am a knowledgeable, passionate and engaging tutor currently studying BA English Literature at the University of Sheffield. If you want to build your confidence in English Literature and develop the skills and knowledge needed to excel at this subject in GCSE, A level and beyond. I believe that English Literature is an incredibly important subject because it helps to build communication skills, critical thinking and creativity. I want to share my love for this subject, as well as sharing the skills and knowledge I have gained in my years studying Literature.
I am flexible in planning my lessons, and I can cater to any age
group and experience level from primary school to A level. A typical lesson would be one hour, however this can be adapted to meet the students needs and goals. My style of teaching is interactive and engaging. I am passionate about building a relationship with my students and working towards their individual goals, rather than just reading through a syllabus.
As a current student, I understand the demands and challenges of the current education system. Not long ago I was in the exact same position, studying for my GCSEs and A-levels with the hope of studying English Literature at University. I gained a place at a prestigious Russell Group University, and now it is my goal to give other students the skills and confidence they need to move forward in their studies of English Literature.. I
