About Qasim
I’m a GCSE student with dyslexia, and when I started Year 7, I was mostly getting grades 2s and 3s. It was really challenging, and I often felt like I was falling behind. But over time, I found strategies that worked for me and learned how to manage my dyslexia better. Through hard work, support, and persistence, I gradually improved. By the time I finished Year 11, I was proud to have achieved mostly grade 8s and 9s. Now, I’m starting my A-levels and have chosen subjects I’m passionate about, including English Literature. Choosing English, despite the challenges I faced early on, shows how far I’ve come and how much I’ve grown in confidence.
