About Anna
As a first-class graduate of Spanish at the University of Warwick, I have spent 10 months abroad working as a sloth technician in Costa Rica and would love to share my passion for the language with others! I have been taught by native speakers and achieved a grade 9 at GCSE and A* at A Level, graduating with first class honours in the summer of 2024. I believe that clear communication is key to making lessons as engaging and productive as possible, so my lessons will have a strong focus on conversation and the opportunity to practise speaking out loud. They will be structured around whatever aspects of the Spanish language you'd like to focus on - whether that's vocabulary, a certain topic (such as Food and Drink), or grammar - so please let me know your needs and I'll plan my classes accordingly! Lessons will be aimed at GCSE or A level students, but I am also open to teaching non-exam based learners at the respective levels (B1 and B2).

Anna is excellent in her subject and has been taught solely by native Spanish speakers - privately for GCSE and by a Spanish teacher at Farnborough college where she is a top student on the Spanish course. I have been very lucky to get her while she is still available. As an adult learner I am not as quick to learn as younger people but she is extremely patient and explains 'why things are' very clearly - this is great for pronunciation and for conversation.
