About Jules

Hi, my name is Jules, I'm very recently 28 and I have just under 14/15 years of experience in both the private, public and non-profit branches of the educational arts sector.

I'm very structured and tailor lessons to what I observe my students best respond to rather than teaching purely from a work or textbook and with a proven track record of success, I'm proud to say my work ethic is second to none.

I've always held the belief that every child has individual specialties, talents, gifts, capabilities and areas of struggle that are distinct to them and as our lessons ebb and flow, I do my best to be innovative, patient and adaptable as the need calls.

About the lesson

I took piano classes at the Merriam School of Music for 13 years, and have continued with my keyboard ever since so my method is relatively simple but time tested which I continue to hold is key - for the first, I like to measure where your child is at with the fundamentals (reading, scales, theory, general comprehension etc) and in the following, I make it a point of emphasis to pinpoint their struggles, adjust and hone until both you and they start to see an elevated degree of proficiency.
