About Harry

Hey!
I discovered cartography during one of my professional experience as a GIS technician, it is a very rich field with a lot of information to grasp and analyze.
To develop your own maps, you have to be both designer and scientist, dreamer and rigorous, it's a profession as well as a hobby.

About the lesson

I introduce you to cartography and its most used softwares including Qgis, ArcGis (Arcmap) and Mapinfo.

Before the class we can talk about your assignment and the best way to achieve a good grade in your project. GIS softwares are harsh to grab at first but i will give you the extra boost to quickly be autonomous.

I want my students to feel at ease with GIS so I will teach you key concepts such as the projections, the geo-referencement, geodesic, geomatics and much more.
