About Amie
I am a passionate German graduate and translator. I began learning German in school and it just seemed to "click". Unpopular opinion, I think German is a beautiful language! The country is beautiful and the people are very friendly and helpful. I spent 6 months in Heidelberg in Bavaria studying, and then continued my German studies after university in Chur in Switzerland, teaching English in a school. I am a thorough and enthusiastic teacher who believes there is no such thing as a stupid question!

Each lesson is between 60 and 90 minutes long, depending on the individual. Sometimes hard grammer can be taxing and 60 minutes is enough, other times you are in the flow and 90 minutes flies by!
I like to use the support of a textbook, and then discuss the information in-depth,coming across new vocab and grammar along the way!
I have a degree in German and Italian from the University of Leicester, and have been a German/Italian translator for 10 years now.
These sessions would be perfect for exam prep and adults wanting to learn a new language!
