About Maike
In the past three years, I have taught many different students between the age of 9 and over 40. Teaching and learning has always been fun and there was always something interesting to chat about.
It’s essential to me that the student is really interested in learning German - this is the only way he/she can understand new topics and make use of the regular repetitions which we’ll be doing to get better and better and not get bored over time.

The skills I have acquired in high school, in my free time and during the lessons, help me teach shortcuts and tricks apart from the basic knowledge, which make solving exercises/problems while speaking more quickly and therefore take away a lot of stress in various situations related to using the language.

Deadly! She is very Precise, Friendly, diligent, knows how to patiently deal with children, a native German speaker with a perfect dialect.
We are lucky having her teaching our son and highly recommending her for all DaF courses seekers- The student is very motivated and attentive, he communicates whenever he doesn´t understand something or wants to repeat a certain topic. I notice that he puts effort into learning. I am enjoying the lessons with him and am happy to teach him.Maike's response :
