About Nina
I am a lively, friendly and open person.
My background is in music, which I studied at LIPA in Liverpool, where I moved nearly ten years ago. I have been working as a language teacher for nearly 7 of those since languages are my second passion. I am fluent in English, German and French and have successfully passed the Latinum exam. I am patient in explaining difficult rules and concepts, while at the same time always ensuring there is fun to be had in my language lessons.

I have been teaching for nearly 7 years now. I started out during my music studies at LIPA but soon found that teaching brings me immense joy.
Since the lockdown I have been mainly teaching online, as it unlocks new potential for sharing materials with my students. It enables me to utilise a variety of media throughout the lesson, such as film, text (poetry, news), and audio and also share important lesson material with the students.
I am a patient and fun teacher, I adjust my lessons to your needs, we can go fast or slow, have very structured or more loose lessons, basically, anything is up for discussion, aside from homework, which I insist on. I will take my time to explain difficult grammar concepts and help you apply them in speech and writing. I have successfully prepared my students for their GCSE, A-Level and language exams.
