About Alina
I am a German Master of Education student studying English and Chinese at Ruhr-University Bochum. I completed my Bachelor of Arts degree at Ruhr-University Bochum (2018-2021). My studies provided me with the requisite know-how on how to become a professional teacher of English and Chinese at primary and secondary school. Good academic performance, working as a student assistant at the English Department of the Ruhr-University Bochum, and extraordinary commitment to volunteer programs at my home university helped me to get the DAAD and PROMOS scholarship to continue my studies at National Taiwan University and the University of Wollongong. After completing all the courses for my teaching subject Chinese at National Taiwan University last semester (2022), I studied at University of Wollongong (2023) and completed the remaining English courses.

My lessons: My lessons vary in length depending on the needs and preferences of the student. Lessons can last between 60 and 120 minutes and are suitable for all ages and learning abilities, as I carefully adapt all learning content to the individual student to achieve the best learning outcome. I create individual step-by-step learning plans with realistic learning objectives to ensure a motivating, encouraging, and positive learning environment. My experiences and studies: I am a German Master of Education student studying English and Chinese at Ruhr-University Bochum in Germany. As a future teacher of English and Chinese, part of my study program is to prove myself as an effective communicator. I have completed several internships at primary and secondary schools, proving that I enjoy sharing my knowledge and passion for Chinese and English language and culture with my students. Being a teacher has helped me develop excellent time management and organizational skills. Seeing the children develop a passion for language and literature is my greatest reward. This is exactly what I want to pass on to the students of Superprof: I want to use my pedagogical knowledge to teach my mother tongue, German, as well as English and Chinese. My educational studying background provided me with all the necessary skills to create an interesting, and creative learning environment. Languages are doors to different worlds and cultures. I look forward to sharing my language, world knowledge, and culture with you.

She truly is a superprof. She can explain things so explicitly. There is no way for you not to understand whatever the topic is. She knows what she is doing and helped me to improve.
