About Chelsea

Hi everyone,
I am Chelsea, a 24-year-old Ghanaian student raised in Germany and currently completing a language focused-neuroscience internship in Malta. Over my studies, my training has sharpened my understanding of how people learn and how knowledge such as language skills gain value when they are made more accessible. For me, teaching is a beautiful extension of scientific work; somewhat a way to translate one’s curiosity about the unknown into long lasting and tangible knowledge. I am driven to help you to reach that goal while creating a comfortable learning environments that challenges and encourages you!

About the lesson

My teaching style combines structured language exercises with language acquisition principles from my psychology background to promote deep understanding and long-term retention. I focus on strongly personalized, structured lessons, while aiming at good balance between casual communication and mastering foundational grammar tailored to each learner.

Besides having spent most of my life in Germany, I bring 13 years of German—taught education, high school graduation from the highest secondary school track, university-level studies in language acquisition, and two years of in-person tutoring experience.

My lessons typically last between 60–90 minutes, allowing my students to study at a calm pace and sustainable progress.

I teach anybody who is interested to learn and dive into the beautiful world of the German language. I welcome learners of all ages, whether you’re just starting out in primary school or studying at university, I teach German at every level—from complete beginners (A1) to advanced speakers (C1).
