About Alexis
I’m an American graduate student in Glasgow working on my dissertation in Media & Communication. I earned my B.A. in Public Relations and Business Analytics in 2015, and since then I’ve worked in marketing and communications: first, at an advertising agency, then for a large company in Los Angeles, and now I freelance full-time, working on a range of projects from blogging and writing to web design, social media and podcasting.

The method will differ based on the student’s learning style! But I prefer to start everything with a big picture understanding of why the topic is important and how it relates to other concepts, and then move into the tactical and technical elements. I will spend half the time teaching, the other half walking you through exercises to get hands-on experience.
