About Maxime
I started the drums 12 years ago (self-taught for 2 years). I then did internships and took drum lessons to improve my acquired skills but also to clarify my playing technique. I then passed my drum diploma in England (Access To Music, Birmingham, UK). During my studies I gained a lot in musical and professional experience. Back in France I started to give private lessons at home. For 4 years I have been teaching full time at the music school of Meythet, the school of Villaz and the EMA of Sillingy. I also played in various groups and formations in particular for events (Garfly, Innuendo, Annecy Music Waves) and joined a troupe of musical comedy (musical studio) as a drummer. I am passionate about transmitting my knowledge and offer individual lessons at my home or via Skype.

My name is Maxime, I am a professional drummer. I graduated in contemporary music at Access to Music, Birmingham (UK). I teach for students wishing to learn drums, or for students who would like to deepen their levels. The first course is free. - For a beginner student: The first lessons will be based on the discovery of the instrument, then we will start the basics of practice and theory. The student will then learn pieces to work on the different exercises learned in class. - For an intermediate student: Outside the first lesson, the student will play an already learned piece, to allow me to define his current game and his learning needs. We will also talk about his goals and the musical styles he wants to work towards.

Deadly! Je recommande vivement Maxime ! il très à l'écoute sur mes besoins et mes difficultés, et il m'a proposé des exercices ciblés pour progresser rapidement. Aprés plus d'un mois de cours , mon niveau a bien progressé , et ça a toujours été un plaisir d'aller en cours ;-)
