About Tegan
I am a nursing student (Graduating May, 2021) and have spent many of my college years tutoring fellow healthcare students in anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, and nursing concepts. I have hosted study sessions and one-on-one tutoring with students either struggling or reviewing material. Teaching has helped me review the material for myself as well. I have found great joy in teaching and tutoring material and am excited to work with students in pathophysiology!

Nursing school is hard. You are not only expected to learn new material, you are also taught a new way of thinking and processing. NCLEX questions (especially those pesky select-all-that-apply) are often more difficult than what you may have encountered in non-nursing classes. I am here to help you not only with the large amount of material nursing school covers, but with the mode of thinking and processing you need to attain in order to be successful. This includes working through material in a way that is comprehensive rather than surface-level and making the deeper connections between pathophysiology, risk factors, care, and progression. I also value knowing why you perform the cares that you do, even if it is within a simple health exam. Restructuring your processing becomes easier as time goes on, and I want to help in that development!
