About Sydney

I am an honor student just starting out high school with a cumulative 3.8 GPA. Despite this, I juggle homework and many of my extracurriculars with ease. I have been playing piano for 9 years and cello for 4 years. I have been learning Japanese for 7 years and Korean for 2. To add on, I participate in a 2-3 hour coding class every week and have been learning Vietnamese for 9+ years, play in the Youth Concerto Orchestra, and many more I am entered in the Congressional Award, a youth award rewarded to those with many hours of Personal Development, Volunteer Hours, Fitness, and Expedition. I like to read a lot and also try to find new things that can keep me busy. Although I do not have much experience teaching, I have the knowledge to start gaining it. I hope you guys start learning with me!

About the lesson

Hi Guys,
My name is Sydney Luan, and I am a freshman in high school with a 3.8 GPA and many extracurriculars on the side. I've been learning Japanese for around 4 years and Korean for over 2 years. Recently, I've just started tutoring in Vietnamese but I want to reach more people.
I try to tailor my lessons for every student. First, I will have you fill out a form for what you are most interested in learning and materials you would like to use. Then, I would love to meet you guys in the classroom and have fun together!
I will always try my best to enter the classroom with a lot of energy, and make sure every lesson is fun. I know many different ways of teaching and I will put my knowledge to use. Some days, we will have slideshows and other days, we will talk together and play language games!

My classes are available to anyone who has had no experience with the language. They are also available to beginners and intermediate learners.

***Please bear with me, I do not have a proper camera set up! Although I will try my best to create an engaging and fun lesson, sometimes there might be issues.
