About Sofia

I was born in Puerto Rico but, I live in NYC as of now. I am a student at Berkeley College. I tutor writing, a few business related math courses, and business subjects. I also wrote my thesis on veganism this year. I draw and write as a hobby.

About the lesson

I love working with all kinds of students and I am very patient. I try to get to the root of the problem someone might be facing and go from there. I can always relate to them and make them feel confident in order to give them the motivation they need. I guide them towards the right direction so that they can become a successful student.

Sofia has been tutoring since her freshman year, she is very experienced, versatile a wonderful person and has made a name for herself. She is an integral member of the Berkeley College tutoring teaching students. Sofia has a unique and wonderful rapport with her students, her work days are always full and students ask for her by name. The results achieved by her students are a reflection of her work and passion. Any student would be in good hands with Sofia Rios at the helm.

I am pleased to recommend her without reservation as a teacher. If you require hard work, initiative, loyalty and dedication, look no further.
