About Lory
I am a passionate French tutor with 8 years of experience teaching high school and college students. Over this time, I have helped more than 150 learners achieve fluency, academic success, and confident communication. My teaching philosophy revolves around personalized learning, tailoring lessons to each student’s pace, goals, and preferred style of learning.
I use interactive exercises, conversation practice, role-playing, and cultural immersion to make lessons engaging, practical, and enjoyable. My unique skill is helping students overcome challenges in grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation, turning obstacles into clear progress and confidence.
I strive to create a positive, motivating, and student-focused learning environment, where learners feel comfortable exploring language and expressing themselves. Lessons develop all aspects of French while keeping learning meaningful, practical, and enjoyable.

My teaching style for French is centered on compassion, integrity, and adaptability. I believe that language learning should be both encouraging and goal-driven. I focus on helping students build a strong foundation while steadily improving their fluency and confidence.
Compassion allows me to create a safe and positive learning environment. I understand that students may feel nervous when speaking a new language, so I encourage open participation and patient practice. I take time to address individual challenges and provide extra support where needed.

Adaptability enables me to adjust my teaching according to age, proficiency level, and purpose. Beginners focus on pronunciation and essential grammar, while intermediate and advanced learners work on conversational skills, writing, and comprehension of authentic texts.
