About Orli

Violin is something I have been passionate about for 11 years, and I really want to share my passion with students and inspire them whilst offering nuanced advice regarding technical and tonal accuracy unique to varying scores and pieces. My experience with hundreds of performances and other violin players has really allowed me to be able to connect with other players and help them achieve their musical goals whilst sharing with them the beauty of playing such an incredible instrument.

About the lesson

When tutoring, I aim to really focus on the technical, mental, physical, and structural foundations of violin from fingerings to holding the violin to bow hold in order to set students up for more advanced pieces down the line. During lessons the primary focus is not only on accuracy and pitch, but also feeling the flow of the music and really enjoying the musical process and outcome. The typical length of a lesson is an hour, and lessons are for beginner and moderate violin players up to and including Grade 5 AMEB. I have 11 years of experience in playing, including experience in orchestras, ensembles, and many solo performances and exams.
