About Jacob
Hello! My name is Jacob. I am a certified ABRSM grade 8 pianist, and therefore also certified grade 5 music theory. Music has been a crucial part of my whole life. I have been trained in instruments like drums, piano and guitars. I plan to study music education at university later this year, training to become a music teacher in secondary school.

I believe that in order to achieve above and beyond, the start is the most important part. I will dedicate my lessons to providing skills and knowledge that will stay relevant throughout the entire journey, from beginner to virtuosic. Lesson lengths can be 30 minutes (Recommended for children), 45 minutes or 60 minutes. In my time at secondary school, I have spent the last 2 years helping in our music classes, working with ages 11 up to 15. I have helped complete beginners on keyboard, and accompanied vocalists/drummers working on their national exams! My lessons are intended for ages 8-18. I'm happy to teach piano, or assist people in SQA exam prep.
