About Vivian
Hello everyone! I'm Viv, a 22 year old guitar player from Bridport, Dorset, UK. I have been playing guitar since I was 13 and during that time I have achieved a Merit at Grade 8 Rock School Electric Guitar, placed 33rd/250 contestants in an international competition called "Guitar Idol (2017)", and had the opportunity to perform to 10,000 people in South America when I was 18! I believe that our only limit is our imaginations and if we set our minds to it, we can achieve whatever we like, be who we want to be and get to where we want to go!

Hello everyone!
My name is Viv, I'm a 22 year old guitarist and I live in Bridport, Dorset, United Kingdom. I have played the guitar since I was 13 and taught the guitar since I was 21. During that time I have achieved a Merit at Grade 8 Rock School Electric Guitar, made it past the first round of producer auditions for Britain's Got Talent 2017, placed 33rd/250 contestants in "Guitar Idol 2017" and had the opportunity to perform as part of an orchestra f 3,000 people to a crowd of 10,000 people as part of my volunteering activities with an organization called "Sonidos De La Tierra" in Paraguay in 2017. I have given guitar lessons to 5 people since 2020; 3 in person and 2 online. I also had the opportunity to teach a class of 15 children during my time with Sonidos De La Tierra. I love playing and teaching the guitar more than I can express in words and I'm really looking forward to teaching anyone who is interested in taking their guitar playing to the next level!
I teach a range of people from beginners who have never played guitar before to advanced players with experience. I teach a range of styles ranging from acoustic, to classical, to blues, to pop and rock, to hard rock, to heavy metal. I teach both electric and acoustic guitar.
My approach to teaching will vary greatly depending on the level of experience and ability the student has/is at, what style(s) of music they wish to learn and what they are looking to get out of having lessons with me on a more specific level.
