About Tihaana
To my future learners — I'm a fellow student in Grade 12 who genuinely loves English, and I know how it feels to sit where you are, working through tricky grammar rules or staring down an essay deadline.
I got into tutoring because I want to make English feel less intimidating and more like something you can actually enjoy and get good at. My lessons are relaxed but focused — we work through past papers and real examples together, so you leave each session feeling more confident, not more confused.

My approach focuses on building confidence, not just correcting mistakes — I break grammar and writing down into simple, manageable steps using examples learners can relate to. I teach in English.
A typical lesson involves working through past exam papers together, covering both Language and Literature, so learners get comfortable with the actual format and style of questions they'll face. This helps build real exam confidence, not just theoretical knowledge — we go over mistakes, spot patterns, and practice comprehension, essay writing, and exam technique together.
My lessons are aimed at primary and high school learners who want to improve their grammar, essay writing, comprehension, and exam readiness, especially those who find English overwhelming or tend to lose marks on avoidable mistakes.
