About Bryony
Hey! I'm Bryony, a former IB student on a gap year to improve my languages and grow my confidence and skills. I love learning, having taught myself Portuguese only to receive an offer to study it at Cambridge next year. Having helped many peers with writing personal statements and improving their essay techniques and analyses I am excited to start the next chapter of my tutoring journey on SuperProf. I want to help my students to not only achieve their academic goals but to build their confidence and resilience and foster a healthy balance between school and other priorities. I will lean on my own experience of facing obstacles on the IB as well as my research into different learning styles to tailor sessions to you. I will always maintain a professional yet non-judgemental environment in which you can learn without the pressure of school but with full academic support.

I am a recent IB Diploma graduate (43/45 pts) and soon to be Cambridge University undergrad reading Modern and Medieval Languages. I am passionate about learning and helping students reach their academic and personal goals. I will do this through a highly personalised approach which focuses on each student's learning style and academic profile, building the confidence and skills for independent learning so even without my help they can succeed in new situations. I aim my lessons at students aged 14 to 18, mainly at IB level as well as GCSE. Depending on the needs of each student a lesson may be between 30 minutes and 1 hour.
