About Sarah
I have always had a love of history. I have studied topics from all eras of history, from the Ancient Egyptians and Tudors in school, right up until more specialised areas of post-Tsarist Russia, post-War USA, Medieval Britain, and the history of crime and punishment. I am confident that I can help create an in-depth understanding and analysis about any aspect of history. I am confident in my ability to help any student engage with history as I firmly believe that everyone has a favourite historical era.

I offer a calm and friendly approach to teaching, where no questions are left unanswered. I aim to provide students with the knowledge and understanding they need to pass their GCSEs and A Levels at a high level. I have always been passionate about history and am always keen to engage others with the subject. I want to show students that history is exciting and shapes our everyday lives. I have a First Class Undergraduate Degree and a Master's Degree, and I am currently working part-time towards my PhD. I have experience of both the examination and coursework processes for both GCSE and A Level, and I am fully DBS checked.
