About Marissa
I graduated with a degree in Communication, but my true passion has always been teaching. I’ve been teaching English for 18 years, and throughout those years, I’ve had the opportunity to meet students from different backgrounds, cultures, and age groups.
As an English teacher, I believe that learning a language should be fun, practical, and comfortable. My goal is not only to help you improve your grammar and vocabulary, but also to help you become a more confident English speaker. I want my students to feel comfortable expressing their thoughts and ideas, even when they make mistakes.
Outside of teaching, I’m a mom of one, so I understand the importance of patience, encouragement, and creating a positive learning environment.

I believe learning English should be more than just memorizing vocabulary and grammar rules. My goal is to help you actually use English in real-life situations—whether you want to improve your everyday conversations, prepare for work or interviews, travel with confidence, or simply become more comfortable speaking with foreigners.
In my classes, you can expect a friendly and supportive environment where you can speak freely, make mistakes, ask questions, and improve step by step. I’ll help you identify your weaknesses, build on your strengths, and develop the confidence to express yourself clearly.
Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced learner, I’ll adjust my lessons to your level, goals, and learning style.
So, if you’re ready to improve your English and become a more confident speaker, I’d love to learn and grow with you!
