About Mich
Hello! I’m your dedicated English tutor, passionate about helping you build confidence and master the language in a way that fits you.
I believe English is first and foremost a tool for connection — so my lessons are practical, engaging, and focused on helping you communicate clearly and comfortably. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to polish advanced skills, I tailor every session to your goals, learning style, and interests. We’ll work on speaking, listening, reading, and writing together — turning mistakes into stepping stones for progress, and making learning feel natural rather than overwhelming.
I teach all levels and for all purposes: daily conversation, schoolwork, exam preparation, professional communication, travel, and more. My goal is to create a supportive space where you feel safe to practice, ask questions, and grow at your own pace.
Let’s take this step by step — and turn your English goals into real results!

My teaching style is learner-centered, practical, and supportive — I believe language is for communication first, not just memorizing rules. I combine proven methods with modern techniques to suit every learner’s needs:
Communicative Language Teaching: We prioritize real-life speaking, listening, and interaction rather than just textbook drills. You’ll practice using English in situations you actually encounter.
Contextualized Learning: Grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation are taught through stories, articles, dialogues, and your own interests — so you understand how and when to use them, not just the definition.
Balanced Skill Building: I integrate all four core skills naturally: speaking, listening, reading, and writing — plus pronunciation, fluency, and confidence building.
Active Practice & Feedback: I guide you to speak up and make mistakes freely — errors are viewed as progress! Feedback is specific, encouraging, and paired with examples and corrections you can reuse.
Customized Materials: I adapt content to your goals (exams, work, travel, daily chat, etc.) and use videos, articles, role-plays, and exercises that fit your level.
Scaffolding: We start simple and build up step-by-step — I never overwhelm you, and we review what you’ve learned regularly so it sticks.
Typical Lesson Plan
Every 60-minute lesson follows this flexible structure:
Table
Time Activity Purpose
0–5 mins Warm-up & check-in Quick conversation or short activity to get you comfortable; review what we learned last time and confirm your goals for today.
5–20 mins New input & examples Introduce the topic (grammar point, vocabulary, expression type, or skill focus) using real-life examples and clear explanations.
20–45 mins Guided & independent practice Start with controlled exercises, then move to role-plays, discussions, reading/writing tasks, or listening practice — you take the lead while I support you.
45–55 mins Feedback & correction Go over what you did well, clarify mistakes gently, explain why errors happen, and show you better ways to phrase things.
55–60 mins Recap & next steps Summarize key takeaways, assign short practice if helpful, and plan what we will cover in the next session.
What Sets Me Apart
Fully personalized: No one-size-fits-all lessons — I adjust pace, topics, and methods exactly to your learning style, goals, and schedule.
Focus on confidence & fluency: Many learners know grammar but struggle to speak — I create a safe space so you can speak without fear of judgment.
Clear, simple explanations: I avoid complicated jargon and explain rules in plain English with relatable examples.
Holistic progress: I track not just test scores, but how much more comfortable and capable you feel using English in daily life.
Flexible & supportive: I am patient, encouraging, and happy to revisit topics, slow down, or speed up whenever you need.
