About Rilla

Greetings! I am a versatile singer specializing in contemporary and folk genres, proficient in piano and acoustic guitar. I am passionate about crafting enjoyable and interactive lessons tailored for students of all ages. I keep lessons fun with activities, games and pop-quizzes, whilst enabling people to feel confident to sing their hearts out!

About the lesson

I incorporate a healthy amount of music theory into my lessons to ensure my students are getting a well-rounded understanding of music as they go. Lessons can go between 30-60min. I have 2 years experience teaching children and people of all ages professionally within a music school. I can teach anywhere from beginner to advanced students. Basic guitar skills included for free with ongoing singing lessons if you so desire! Being able to accompany yourself is a game changer!

Deadly! I've been practicing piano and vocals with Rilla for 4 months now. As someone who is neurodivergent, sometimes I need concepts explained multiple times for it to sink in. Rilla is very patient, and has an ability to clearly and simply, explain difficult music theory concepts. Rilla is encouraging and her passion for music is contagious. Thanks for all your help Rilla!
