About Daryl
I previously worked for a long time in the clinical laboratory setting as a scientist. I have met many new graduates throughout my time and I noticed that many had a fragmented understanding of biology and medical science. They had learned a lot of information from courses and school but there was no unifying and holistic understanding for them. I aim to give students that holistic understanding and arm them with a sufficient understanding of how biological systems are not separate but united.

For students In junior cert, leaving cert and undergraduate levels I work using the socratic method, encouraging students to ask questions and to use linear as well as obtuse thinking when it comes to biology. I will use lots of examples and images to teach students and encourage students to use previously gained knowledge to achieve aholistic understanding of the subject matter
