About Josh
As a college graduate and current student, I understand the problems that go along with writing. It is a beautiful, fun, and creative experience to write. As I went through my early college days, finding myself in writing helped my have success in my other courses and my personal life. Writing is truly one of the most important things in life and it can open doors that can lead to a rewarding life and career.

My methods of teaching are to find one’s comfort zone. Once someone finds that, their confidence begins to grow with each and every time they write .Having confidence while writing can improve many aspects of someone’s life.
A lesson plan would to start at the top. For example, working on an essay, I would be able to figure out the students needs from the first paragraph and how they can improve from there. Going step by step to showcase the progression of an opening paragraph is a huge obstacle that will give someone the confidence they need to continue to create solid work in the future.
What sets me apart as a tutor is understanding the process of learning. Personally, I struggled to find success in writing for years because of the lack of motivation. Once I began college and was starting to find my grove, I appreciated writing and all other subjects. I mention confidence often because gaining confidence in one subject can lead to success in others. Another important part in this matter is having success outside the classroom. I want to be apart of people finding this about themselves like I did for myself.
My lessons can be for anybody in search for guidance. Throughout life, we are always going to learn new things or improve. I would never complicate things for my students because writing is an area that should be fun and creative. Of course, it can be tough, but once that person is able to find their way, writing turns into a hobby that doesn’t feel strenuous. It is a rewarding process.
