About Sergio
I have taught English as a foreign language for 15 years in Thailand at Wall Street English and at private schools in Bangkok. I have taught students from 12 years old to my oldest at 88 !! One thing I’ve learnt is to treat every student as an individual with patience and respect. Learning a language is not easy so the right teacher with the right attitude is very important. I noticed in Asia in particular there is a huge focus on Grammar and accent, although both important they do not equate to perfecting a language. Students need to be given the opportunity to express themselves in their own way first to build the foundation of confidence which is paramount to language learning.

I offer a no pressure relaxed lesson that is tailored to your specific needs, areas you need specifically, areas that interest you encouraging you to want to express your views and opinions . I can help you become confident in your spoken English by allowing you to use your knowledge as much as possible without pressuring you to have perfect grammar or a perfect native accent. I believe that regular practice leads to a growth in confidence and ability. I teach predominantly young adults and adults for usually an hour at a time but I am flexible. I have a TEFL, TESOL, CELTA and a Bachelor’s degree in English language/ literature.
