About Zari
I want to tutor because I genuinely enjoy supporting others in finding clarity, confidence, and creativity in how they express themselves. I know that language can feel intimidating, especially when it’s tied to schooling, performance, or learning a new system. But I also know how powerful it can be to feel understood—and to understand. For me, tutoring is about making space for that kind of growth. It’s about slowing down, meeting someone where they are, and building trust through language. Whether I’m helping a student refine their writing, improve their English, or explore a text more deeply, I bring care, patience and curiosity to every session.

Hi, I’m Zarzokimi Moss, an English tutor with a background in literature, creative writing, and bilingual education. I have a degree in English and Spanish, but while I have a love of language I understand its challenges. As a tutor, I bring patience, creativity, and care into each session. I’ve worked with students of all ages and levels, from early readers to university students and adult learners. Whether we're working on essay writing, grammar, speaking confidence or reading comprehension, I tailor each lesson to meet the student where they’re at and help them grow in a way that feels encouraging and sustainable. I especially enjoy working with students who are learning English as an additional language, and supporting them in finding their own voice in a new tongue. I see language learning not just as a skill, but as a form of empowerment—and I’m passionate about creating a space that’s calm, engaging and full of possibility
