About Juan Pablo
My name is Juan Pablo Gil, I am 33 years old and I live in Armenia, Colombia. I am an English teacher and I have taught English for about 12 years now. I graduated from a bachelor's degree in modern language in 2012, and I have a master's in education: human development. I love meeting new people and traveling. My favorite hobbies are reading, watching series, and spending time with my family. I am a volunteer of a worldwide organization called YMCA, and I love doing social activities with my community because in that way I can contribute to small changes that will probably achieve big results.

My approach is communicative English. I like to teach English that can be meaningful and useful to my students. I try to be as dynamic and efficient as possible with my process, because I consider that discipline and passion can get you to achieve any goals you have in mind. I like to work the four language skills (listening, writing, speaking, and reading) in every lesson. I use a lot of fun tools and strategies in order to develop communicative skills in my students. I have 12 years of experience giving English lessons in my country, in different institutes either public or private, focusing on adults but working with any type of population. English is my passion, and I have taught that passion to hundreds of people who come to me with a purpose that becomes my purpose as well, and I do my best to meet those expectations.
