About Joelle
Hello! I recently graduated from UC Davis and have returned home to San Diego, CA. I currently work as an assistant teacher for young adults with special needs. I’ve found that it’s fulfilling to be able to connect and help others from communities in need. Not only that, but there is a great need for educators in all levels of education! Aside from work mumbo jumbo, I spend most of my time with friends and family. You may find me out on the dance floor, or chilling watching a movie with my cat. I like to stay spontaneous and never know what my next plan is!

My lesson’s are centered around a need basis. This means, there will be goal work made based on what that specific student needs. For essay building, focus will remain on structure. The student will be taught how to best assess what their teacher or professor is asking for in the prompt and rubric. Resume building will take a look at what the students strengths are and how they can appeal to employers. My lessons would be most helpful to college freshman and high school seniors.
