About Jessica
I studied Spanish from the time I was in middle school until I completed my Spanish minor at the university level, which totaled over 8 years of learning Spanish. To complete my minor I studied abroad in Spain and lived with a host family where only Spanish was permitted to be spoken. While I was learning I experienced struggling to memorize grammar rules and improve listening skills, and I wish to help students who are now going through that themselves. I hope to help my students flourish in Spanish the way my teachers and professors did for me.

Wherever you are in your Spanish language journey, I'm happy to jump in and help where you might be struggling. My lessons are for middle school through university. I'll meet you where you're at and go over grammar rules, drill vocabulary, or practice conversational and listening skills with you. I have the patience to guide you through the repetition required to ingrain grammar rules. Learning a second language can be daunting, but I hope to help my students gain the skills and confidence they'll need to achieve fluency.
