About Ruth
I worked as a teacher for five years in a primary school, before going to study to be an actress. I write for both a hobby and a job. I have had scripts successfully optioned by production companies, have been chosen for bbc writers room and won the Celtic film festival award for a script of mine. I am currently training to be a psychotherapist (can’t stop learning new things!) and am really enjoying the exploration of people, and how much it is informing my writing. I love to teach, I enjoy very much connecting with people and helping them achieve a goal.

I like to work in a ‘client led’ way, following my students interests. I will then plan my lessons according to their passions in order to get the best learning outcomes. Each lesson will last 50 minutes. Happy working with a variety of different ages. I worked for five years in a primary school on a 1:1 basis, helping young people who needed extra curricular help, and have much experience helping adults with creative writing, story/script structure and am passionate about helping others find their creative inspiration.
