About Noelani
Hi, I'm Noelani. I am currently a student at Simmons University in their MA/MS Children's Literature and Library and Information Science program. I got my Bachelor's in Creative Writing from Hampshire College in 2023.
I have over 4 years of tutoring experience and over a decade of childcare experience. I have worked with students ages 4-16 in various subjects, mostly English, Reading/Literacy, and Math.

I provide a fun, safe, and respectful tutoring experience curated to the student to best suit their goals and learning needs.
Based on feedback from students, their adults and teachers, my tutoring sessions can vary from homework help, additional workbook work that mirrors school, book clubs, etc.
With a focus in building lifelong learning skills, I prioritize phonics and reading comprehension, and working with the student to find their academic passions.
My lessons are best for grades K-8 but I also have worked with older English learners before.
