About Brooke
Granted I may be a little shy and soft-spoken when we first meet, I usually warm up pretty quick if we just click. I’m not a big fan of people that are rude all the time. I will give you the same level of respect that you give to me. I can be funny… sometimes (other times I think it’s just because I laugh at my own jokes and look like the biggest ding dong for laughing at myself). I’m pretty easygoing and I enjoy good conversation, whether it’s joking around or talking about life. Bonus points if you can make me laugh or keep up with my random sense of humor. Anywho, enough of me rambling. I’ve always been the kind of person who falls down random history and mythology rabbit holes, so if you’re curious about that kind of stuff too, we’ll probably get along just fine.

Anywho, enough of me rambling. Why should you take my lessons? Well, I’m really into history, mythology, and topics like that, and I like breaking things down in a way that actually makes sense instead of just memorizing dates and names. I try to keep things relaxed and interesting so learning doesn’t feel like a chore. Personally, I don’t agree with the whole textbook thing. All you get from it is memorizing dates and names. All people learn differently. For me? I was one of those kids in school that STRUGGLED with memorizing things. I felt like I was being forced into having to memorize everything. I like to do things so it doesn’t feel like you HAVE to do this, or you HAVE to do that. I try to make things fun, easily understandable, and NOT like a chore. Take a few breaks if you need to, I’m all in for them with you! Sometimes you have to just take a moment to yourself, breathe, and remember that you got this! School teachers don’t understand that, and it really sucks🤤. I’ve been through it enough to know that everyone learns a little differently and/or slowly. We’ll take things at YOUR pace so you’re not rushing to remember every little detail. 🤶🏼
