About Carolanne
History can, at times, be seen as boring or even unimportant but I'm on a mission to change that. I am a full-time history nerd who loves seeing other people's passion and curiosity about the past come to life. By studying the past we can rediscover lost voices and bring them back into the conversation, find something interesting that's helped to shape our world or even discover something new about ourselves. History has in fact never been more important.

I believe that learning should be enjoyable and accessible to everyone. Everyone learns in different ways that should be celebrated and encouraged. Therefore, I take a relaxed and mixed approach to tutoring to suit each student so they leave not only with improved subject matter or essay structure, but also with a new confidence in their subject.
