About Emma
Hi! My name is Emma, and I’m a newly qualified teacher. I’ve always loved working with young people, and I became a teacher because I believe that with the right support and encouragement, every student can succeed. As a tutor, I aim to bring energy, patience, and a fresh approach to every session. I understand that school can sometimes feel overwhelming, and my goal is to create a calm, positive learning environment where students feel confident, comfortable, and motivated. I’m committed to making learning clear, engaging, and tailored to each student’s needs.

I offer grinds in all primary school subjects, as well as Irish and Home Economics for Leaving Cert students. My approach is student-focused, supportive, and tailored to each individual’s needs. For primary students, I create a fun and encouraging learning environment where children feel confident to ask questions and grow at their own pace. I focus on building strong foundations in literacy and numeracy while also supporting their curiosity and love for learning across all subjects. For Leaving Cert students, I take a structured and exam-focused approach, helping students master key content and feel prepared for the exams. In Irish, I place a strong emphasis on oral fluency and exam technique. In Home Economics, I help students break down complex topics and apply their knowledge to real-life examples and marking schemes. Whether it's building confidence, improving grades, or developing better study habits, I work closely with each student to help them reach their full potential.
