Hello! My name is Olivia and I just graduated from Meredith College with my B.A. in Psychology. As a tutor, you are my priority. I will always make sure that you understand the lesson plans in a session before we progress to another topic. Application is an important aspect of learning and it helps one comprehend study materials even more, so I will make sure that whatever we discuss during our meetings are relevant to your life. The first important aspect of tutoring is patience. As your tutor, you will never feel rushed to comprehend a lesson plan right away. I understand that learning is progressive and will, therefore, implement that mindset in my lessons. Another aspect of tutoring that promotes effective learning is communication. As such, my lessons begin by asking my students about particular areas they would like us to focus on first. After we cover those areas, we will get into what we have agreed to go over for our session. My lessons are for undergraduates students and below.
