About Pearl
I'm a new graduate from Oberlin College with a mathematics and economics major and art history and statistical modeling minor. I will study in the master of data science program at Columbia University in the fall. I love quantitative methods, languages, and works of art at the same time, and deep down I know I love teaching the most and enjoy the moment that both of us learn things from each other. I look into things in details and is very patient. Though I might be a little shy from the start, I will try my best to find the best "rhythm" for our learning and chatting, and I believe I can. I'm looking forward to seeing you!

I'm a native Chinese speaker with a lot of patience and passion in teaching. I taught Chinese lessons when I was in Oberlin College. I'm very open to different modes and contents of teaching depending on your needs. I will search for textbooks that match best with your current level and can work on speaking, listening, reading, and writing, etc. (everything related to Chinese). I will be a very encouraging and patient tutor, and I'm very looking forward to see new perspectives of Chinese & learn how to be a better teacher in this journey:)
