About Jaya

I am Dr. Jaya Arumugam, daughter of Late Mr. Delhi N. Arumugam and Mrs. Padma Arumugam. I hold a Doctorate in English from Ottawa University, Canada, and have also completed an M.A. in English and Commercial Law from Bangalore University. Currently, I am pursuing my Ph.D. in English at Harvard University. My passion for teaching began during my college days when I worked as a part-time instructor at Ottawa. That passion eventually led me to establish DNA Halls of Ivy ten years ago, with the vision of delivering quality education to students worldwide. Our motto, "Every Epitome Escorts Us to Eclat," reflects my belief in excellence through learning. At DNA Halls of Ivy, I offer online and offline classes for students from L.K.G. to Grade 12 across various curricula including IGCSE, IB, ICSE, CBSE, and State Boards. I also train students for competitive exams such as GRE, TOEFL, IELTS, and SAT. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of mentoring students from the USA, Europe, Dubai, Australia, and across major Indian cities. In Salem, I personally handle IGCSE and CBSE students. I’m proud to share that all my students have consistently scored above 75%, and many have gained admission to top colleges in India and abroad through merit. Beyond academics, I enjoy reading books, learning new things in technology, staying updated with scientific discoveries, listening to music, and exploring new concepts across various subjects. I strongly believe in lifelong learning and strive to bring that same enthusiasm into every class I teach. My mission is to support students in their academic journeys through a friendly, inspiring, and knowledge-rich environment—helping each child discover their potential and walk confidently toward success.

About the lesson
