About Laura
Through my knowledge, I want to encourage students to love and appreciate the rich history that our country has. I hope to compel students to get out onto the battlegrounds and create their own experiences. I encourage students to appreciate the importance of knowing and understanding what has come before us in a way that helps shape our future to come.

I like to focus on: the fall of the British Empire’s hold on the American Colonists during the Revolutionary War and the events leading up the the American Civil War, with encouraging students to visit local museums, monuments and battlefields. I, as an avid history lover, like to engage and connect with students by making history fun, bringing to life all the stories, the tall tales, and the battles, both in and off the field.
