About Megan

Hi, I’m Megan! I’m a passionate and experienced Nursing tutor with more than 10 years of teaching experience. I have a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Nursing, both from Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi. My expertise lies in teaching Nursing to undergraduate and graduate students. I believe that learning should be engaging and I use various teaching methods and strategies to make my students’ lessons interactive and fun. I am dedicated to helping my students achieve their academic goals and take pride in their nursing career success. In my free time, I enjoy singing, songwriting, and playing the guitar.

About the lesson

My teaching methods are a combination of lectures, games, and storytelling. Lessons are for students enrolled in basic and advanced nursing across the lifespan. My goal is to help you retain information while creating opportunities for you to build your nursing knowledge base and skill set as your prepare for tests, clinicals, and boards.

I’ve had the opportunity to work with Megan as my tutor while I’ve been studying Med-Surg concepts in nursing school. I connected with her when I was looking for extra support to better understand complex material, and she has been an incredible resource ever since.

What I appreciate most about Megan’s teaching style is how she breaks things down into simple, understandable pieces. Med-Surg can feel overwhelming, but she explains concepts in a way that actually makes sense and sticks. She’s patient, knowledgeable, and always checks to make sure I truly understand before moving on. She also connects topics to real-life nursing scenarios, which helps me think more critically and prepares me for exams like the NCLEX.
