About Mert
I'm a graduate from Vanderbilt University and New England Conservatory in cello performance. I have taught all skill levels from beginner to college-professional level for the last 25 years. No age is too young or too old for my teaching. I will connect and motivate you to reach your goals. I'm currently a member of the Las Vegas Philharmonic. I have also played with many artists who have show runs in Las Vegas, those include Bocelli, The Who, Eagles, Stevie Wonder, and Adele.

I can take anyone from any background or skill level and give you the ability to play the cello the way you have always dreamt. I'm a huge believer in setting up my students with a perfectly relaxed technique that will create the necessary ease to play the cello most beautifully. Once proper form is established, rapid technical progress is possible through a set of progressively more difficult pieces and etudes. I will continually address having a proper mindset to continue on your musical journey.
