About Sebastian
I just graduated with merit from the University of Cambridge with an MPhil in American History. I wrote my dissertation on Puerto Rico's constitution-making process. I specialize in 18th-20th century history. But beyond history, I am a geek about writing, grammar, and syntax. In this vein, I have focused on working in roles or undertaking extracurricular activities that hone my writing skills.

I like to teach in student-led ways, and I prefer for students to lead the discussion. I like to teach in interactive ways, and often consult materials beyond the immediate subject matter so that the lessons become more engaging and memorable. I interject when the students ask for help. I also like to point students toward additional resources.
