About Amber

I was born in Hong Kong and went to an international school there. I studied English Language and Literature, Business Management and Psychology at a higher level. I was a part of many extracurricular activities, I organised dance lessons for younger students in my school, organised runs for charity and upon graduation decided to further my studies in English in Canada. Due to Covid-19, my family and I were made to move to the UK, where I studied Sociology with Social Psychology. Having 2 younger siblings as well as growing up in a large extended family, I’ve always loved working with children and helping them grow. I am patient and hardworking and my goal as your tutor would be to help you reach your goals in improving your English.

About the lesson

I will help you strengthen your knowledge of sociology as well as apply proper terminology to the work you do. We can go over any assignments you may have together. I operate on a basis that is fit for the student: if you’d like a more interactive and visually stimulating lesson, I can do that. If you’d like a more traditional approach to learning I can also do that. I will go over the areas you are struggling in at the moment and then set out a plan of action to ensure academic progress and success.
