About Raedan
I have three degrees in writing and filmmaking, I have had multiple tutoring jobs, and I am currently a high school teacher. I love working with young students, and I remember ways in which I responded well when I was a student. I never want my lessons to seem like a lecture that bores the student. I love working with students and challenging them to think creatively so they are encouraged to finish assignments at the highest marks instead of relying on someone else to do it for them. I have been teaching for multiple years and pride myself in my professionalism, while maintaining a fun and easy-going attitude that students can relate and respond well to!

In my lesson plan, I lay out the rubric and instructions so the student is aware of what is being asked and is aware of how to achieve the highest marks. Then I would encourage the student to think creatively and intellectually so they can attack the assignment from different angles. I love encouraging students and enjoy more of an open dialogue/conversation, rather than a lecture to maintain the student's attention and focus. When working with the student, I will challenge them to think about the assignment thematically, then zoom in on the details. I was just recently a student in graduate school, so I pride myself in knowing how to connect with young students!
