About Jamie
Hi, my name is Jamie. I am a graduate from the Unviersity of Oxford and am currently studying at the Royal Academy of Music. I have been playing the piano for over 13 years and am in demand as a pianist and accompanist. I have experience tutoring a range of subjects from when I was at school, where I achieved 4 A* at A-level. I have a passion for the subjects I teach and want to help you to reach your full potential for your exams.

My lessons are aimed primarily at GCSE and A-level students. They are typically 60 minutes long but I am happy to cater to your needs! Lessons can complement and support classroom teaching (in which you can e.g. bring questions you struggled with, or go over recently taught material) but I can also do general revision sessions to revise material that you have covered a while ago. I am happy to set homework if that would be helpful, but this is not essential. I have experience tutoring at school from when I was a student, and try to make lessons fun and engaging. I am to go beyond simply getting the right answer and instead help you to build up a broad knowledge that can be applied beyond the exam.
The first lesson is free; in this lesson I will firstly discuss your needs with you before tutoring, so you can get a sense of my teaching style. If you are happy to continue, we can arrange further lessons at a rate of £22/hr.
