About Kayla
Hi!
My name is Kayla and I am a 23 year old graduate from the University of York where I studied Theatre: Writing, Directing and Performance. In my first year I studied English and Related Literature so any form of literature, play or otherwise I am your girl!
I also specialise in Ancient Greek or Latin texts so if you ever need help with these in terms of literature I can aid you.
I received both A*s in English Literature and Drama at A Level and 9s in English Literature, English Language and Drama at GCSEs so I know what is expected for each exam to gain the most marks in order to achieve the grades.
I also provide extra curriculum study, if you are passionate about a certain time period of literature or a favourite play and want to learn about it more in depth I can help you do so.
I am also available to help you introduce critical analysis in your writing through the use of critical reading and how to elevate your essays to achieve a well balanced argument. I can also provide essay feedback or help you navigate your feedback from your teachers.

Need help with further analysis of plays or books? I can provide worksheets and guides personalised to your reading list to help you study your chosen piece of literature in a deeper way that will help you excel in essay writing.
Stuck on specific guidelines for questions from your specific exam board? I will help break down what is needed for you to receive the most marks possible.
I have helped teach students in younger years at school as part of a volunteering programme in the past and am looking to use those skills and my university experience to help others further their academic studies.
Lessons for GCSE or A Level students studying English Literature or Drama. I can also help read and evaluate undergraduate essays for Theatre and English Literature.
